WHERE WE STARTED.
Ben Cox founded Badger in 2003, selling safety equipment out of a 6×4 trailer under the name Advance Safety. He’d left the family business and saw a gap: businesses in physically demanding industries were underserviced by suppliers who didn’t really understand how they operated.
By 2015, after consistent growth and a clearer picture of where the real opportunity was, the business rebranded to Badger and narrowed its focus to workwear and PPE for warehousing and logistics. The product range was refined, the direct supply model was formalised, and the QuickSystems concept started to take shape.
More than 20 years later, Badger supplies some of Australia’s largest logistics and cold chain operators. The trailer is long gone. The attitude hasn’t changed much.
